The band originally emerged following their smash hit album "Sparkle and Fade", a record whose track list is adorned with fan-favorite tracks such as "Heroin Girl" and "Santa Monica". Despite the ever-changing line-up, front-man Art Alexakis has maintained the band's highly distinctive, grunge sound. Guitars either purr or growl against the cacophony of thrashing drums amassing sonically in what can only be described as pure, unadulterated punk-rock angst.
